I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA with my hubby, 2 cats, dog, and gecko.

My hubby is near retirement and in his spare time builds custom motorcycles. He and a partner have recently opened a new shop and that will become his full-time gig once he retires (soon I hope). He has two daughters, my beautiful step-daughters, who are very close to him. One lives here in town and we get to see her quite often, the other just moved to Portland, Oregon, USA.

I was a university professor in a previous life but quit after 10 years to expand my own design business. I started out in my home office, but am fortunate to have a beautiful, professional office, smack in the middle of a cool building with lots of potential clients that I see every single day. I’ve learned that having structure, a place to go to every day, is really good for me as I’m my own boss. My business has literally exploded in the past year. While web development is my first love, and primary interest, I design anything from business cards to billboards.

I have been playing with digital graphic design since about 1999, and a few years ago I stumbled upon pixels. I was hooked. I used to love to do counted cross-stitch, but once I got my own computer at home, I sort of lost interest in everything else lol. Pixels brought me back to my love for counted cross stitch. Anyway, I got into doing pixels, but I took a hiatus for a year or so … Now, I’ve rediscovered the pixel world and here I am.
